Logo

Our logo is comprised of a horizontal lockup with Class Catalyst “Wellness Smile” symbol and stacked wordmark.

The Class Catalyst “Wellness Smile” symbol has an illustrated look and feel — alluding to a students personal touch on an expressive emoji. The symbol signals to the interactions students experience while doing their daily well-being check-ins with Class Catalyst.

Use the logo lockup in Class Catalyst Green whenever possible. Any deviation from this is an exception.

Color Variations

The logo can be reversed out of a color or an image, when the color version of the logo does not have enough contrast with the background to be legible. Use the black version of the logo in the rare instances when color is not an option. When using the “knocked out white” version of the logo never invert the Class Catalyst “Wellness Smile” symbol to black. In all other cases, use the Class Catalyst Green or reverse versions of the logo.

Wordmark

In select instances, the wordmark can be used instead of the logo lockup when vertical space is limited, such as in signage, a web banner, or a web page header. As with the logo lockup, use the wordmark in green as often as possible. The wordmark can also be reversed out of a color or an image, when the color version of the wordmark does not have enough contrast with the background to be legible. Use the black version of the wordmark only in the rare instances when color is not an option.

Symbol

The Class Catalyst “Wellness Smile” symbol can act as a substitute for the logo or wordmark only when space is extremely limited, such as on an app icon. The symbol can also be used in large-scale environmental graphics where the logo will be in close proximity.

Safety Space

Safety space is the area surrounding the logo that is free of all conflicting elements such as other logos, symbols, or text. Using an appropriate amount of safety space around the logo ensures that it stands out distinctively in any environment.

For the logo and wordmark, allow a minimum amount of safety space on all sides of the logo equal to the x-height of the wordmark, as shown.

Allow a minimum amount of clear space on all sides equal to 0.4 (or 40%) of the height of the symbol. Whenever possible, allow for more than the minimum amount of safety space.

Partnerships

When Class Catalyst and a third party work together for any initiative, partnership guidelines need to be applied. For co-branding, it is recommended to use the Class Catalyst wordmark instead of lockup with symbol. Third party and Class Catalyst will be connected by “+” symbol to signify co-branded effort. As with the main Class Catalyst logo, use the partnership wordmark in green as often as possible. The wordmark can also be reversed out of a color or an image, when the color version of the wordmark does not have enough contrast with the background to be legible. Use the black version of the wordmark only in the rare instances when color is not an option.
